This year, Meitheal will be distributing the Cyanocobalamin Injection, USP 1,000 mcg per 1 mL size with the following changes:
- Manufacturing site change that aligns with 10 mL and 30 mL sizes
- New NDC Number
Moving the manufacturing site for Meitheal’s Cyanocobalamin products to our affiliate, Nanjing King-Friend Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., will provide the following efficiencies:
- Stronger supply controls of the Cyanocobalamin Injection, USP line (1 mL, 10 mL, and 30 mL sizes) to help address market shortages and sudden demand spikes.
- Positive supply assurances through increased capacity that will prevent stockouts and delays in patient therapies.
- Continuous commitment to the Cyanocobalamin Injection needs of healthcare partners and patients.
To maintain consistent supply during this NDC transition, Meitheal will remain in contact and provide frequent stocking updates to prevent service disruptions to our healthcare partners. Please refer to the below for the specifics of this change in NDC.
